Senior Planner & Designer,
OLIN

Max Dickson (he/him) is a Philadelphia-based urban planner and landscape designer at OLIN, an international landscape architecture and urban planning studio. He is committed to creating socially-engaged spaces that reflect those who live, use, and experience a place. In his work, Max is interested in the intersection of environmental design and cultural ecology and how the landscape has the potential to be the fabric that ties people and ecologies together. With degrees in landscape architecture and urban planning from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, he has worked closely with various public agencies and community groups with site design to large-scale master planning efforts. At OLIN, Max’s work has focused on district-scale urban spaces, as well as leading the emergent research initiative through OLIN Labs called
PrideScapes, an exploration of queer landscapes and people within the field of Landscape Architecture.
