Kamryn Gardner is a community engagement specialist at Green Living Science, where she leads the Our Backyard Detroit (OBD) program, promoting community stewardship of Detroit’s parks and public spaces. With a background in environmental studies and sustainability, Kamryn empowers residents to engage with nature and care for local green spaces through education, events, and partnerships.

As the founder of Kam’s Customs, an eco-conscious art brand, Kamryn combines her passion for art, fashion, and sustainability. Her work uses creative expression to inspire environmental stewardship and advocate for sustainable practices. Kamryn’s leadership extends to developing workshops and community programs, including training Park Champions in marketing, fundraising, and park management.
