Daniel A. Washington, a lifelong Detroiter, is a leader, creative, and doer with a passion for real estate and community development. In 2017, he founded NW Goldberg Cares – a community development organization in an effort to spur impactful change in his neighborhood. The Wayne State University graduate is passionate about creating relatable brands, impactful programs and meaningful experiences for underserved youth. The 2021 Crain’s 20 in their 20s awardee has more than seven years of experience in public space creation, entrepreneurship, fundraising and intentional, community-focused development.
